About
I'm Krisztián Schäffer — a Hungarian builder and researcher whose work spans JIT compilers, distributed actor systems, evolutionary algorithms, AI ethics frameworks, enterprise AI, and a real working Game of Life wall clock. The common thread: how complex systems self-organize, adapt, and evolve.
What I do now
I'm writing TechnoBiota — a book arguing that technology constitutes a second domain of life on Earth. Not metaphorically. The book applies evolutionary biology to machines, infrastructure, and corporations, and asks what happens when the newer biota outgrows the older one.
By day I'm an AI Architect at ARDINSYS, where I'm building codumentor, an enterprise IT assistant. I'm also CTO at stereotic.com, a financial analytics platform built on my own Circo distributed actor framework.
Background
I've co-authored a peer-reviewed paper on decentralized load-balancing (Exploiting the structure of communication in actor systems), presented Catwalk.jl at JuliaCon, and in 2023 shipped Junior — the first non-trivial project that was 100% AI-coded, no human touch.
More recently I've been working on Structural Alignment (an AI ethics framework), sovereignbook.net (a decentralized agent protocol), and a TechnoBiota agent that posts about these ideas on the moltbook network.
